Bed & Bed Peterson – A Favorite for Families in Florence

Bed & Bed Peterson offers bright, soundproof rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom with shower. Each room includes a free breakfast basket and an Italian coffee-maker for preparing morning beverages. A common area refrigerator and a free internet point in the lounge are accessible to all guests.

The hotel is located in the Porta al Prato district, less than 10 minutes' walk from Santa Maria Novella Station. Fortezza da Basso exhibition centre is within a 10-minute stroll, and Florence's Duomo can be reached on foot in under 20 minutes. The area is known for budget dining options, and a tram stop is just 2 minutes away.

A self-check-in system with key and code access eliminates the need for meeting staff upon arrival. The hotel provides daily complimentary water bottles in the room, a service noted in guest reviews. Luggage storage is available after checkout, and the cleaning staff restocks tea, coffee, and biscuits each day.

Guest reviews highlight spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The soundproof windows reduce street and tram noise for light sleepers, though some rooms face the tram line. Positive feedback mentions the helpful cleaning staff and the availability of a fridge and coffee-making facilities in the hallway.

Florence Airport is 4 km from the hotel, reachable by tram or taxi. Public transport links at Santa Maria Novella Station connect guests to all major city attractions. The hotel's location near the underpass is noted as slightly uncomfortable at night; guests recommend walking around the front of the station instead.
